Hickory Creek Koolaid

Any advice for cocking in the tree on a predator platform? I got it done, but it wasn’t pretty.
I sit, grab the string, push with my leg.
Oh, and use your thumbs to guide the loop on.

Anyone know what screws the whisker biscuit uses? I lost both of mine during the course of hiking and scouting this past weekend.

I don't but I had movement with mine so I put bowstring wax on the threads of each screw for this rest and it seems to have worked pretty good keeping them tight on the rest.

I was going to use loc-tite this time. I hate to carry a bow into a hardware store, but that might be where we are at. Lol.

Any updates on a better quiver option or a red dot sight?

I added a paracord loop so I can cock the bow without removing the quiver. It also helps when cocking the bow in the tree...Screenshot_20211018-190834.png

I took my first deer with it Saturday night; a small doe. My 3 year old was giving me grief for coming back empty handed multiple times in a row, so I decided to let 'er rip...

"Chwacker" broadhead thru both lungs...30 yds and down for the count.

The fastfire iii I have has been awesome for a coyote and a yearling buck. Haven't seen anything I like for a new foot loop or bracket for the quiver.

I love the cheapo Trophy Ridge quiver I put on my compound, but it doesn't match up with the HC Mini.

I really like the idea of a red dot. No worrying about eye relief. Could shoot in all kinds of weird positions and angles.

I am picturing a deer coming in at your 3:00 and instead of turning, you could hold the pistol grip in your right hand as normal, but instead of shouldering the Mini, you hold the end of the stock with your left hand.

Try it sometime, you could def make a quick shot this way... But it wouldn't work with a scope.

Yep. Given that you can also hold the stirrup as a fore grip, there are all kinds of shots you can make. I can't imagine going back to a vertical bow in a saddle.
