Hicks Sticks

I'm seriously considering using one for 1 sticking.
I used muddy stagger steps this past season for it and it worked fine. Even the steel ones, when there is just one is light enough. Really it was just awkwardly long and I never did really find a way that I liked it on my pack. Ended up in my hand and using it to clear the way.

There you go - build in a machete edge on them for trail trimming and multipurpose use!

Does anyone other than me care about the struts protecting your body in a fall by eliminating the sharp bottom steps and significantly dulling the top steps?

I'm having a cascade of projects imposed on me so I dunno when I will get to these. But that's life.

If your like me the more you think about a project the more it evolves. Taking more time going over an Idea usually makes it better. Even after you finish, there will probably be things you would improve on for the next one.
