Because nothing is ever good enough and there's always something to improve I bring you a Jimmy Wallhanger patent pending game changer.........................

custom hot hands pockets....

I'm going to sew these into my base layer.

I took an old tshirt cut two 7" x3" strips... I cut them from the bottom so there is a sewn edge at the top of the pocket. I'm going to sew around the pocket and only leave a 2.5" hole at the top to help avoid the hot hands popping out ive marked them with the gold dots on the edge. It should fit a large hot hands snuggly.

I have been sticking the boot ones to the I side but its Bush league.... I like the idea of having my kidneys warm and between my shoulders to make drawing a bow easy on cold days.

I have a full first lite sanctuary set up I've never been cold... but there's a difference between not cold and toasty warm.

I use the extra large sticky kidney ones. I do like the idea of placing one between your shoulder blades though.... I need to find a good way to incorporate some for my hands though. I can’t stand big bulky gloves for bowhunt if.

I got a sitka incinerator muff... it's the bees knees. I found the sticky ones fell off too easy for me

That beats the hell outta the "tape-em-on" strategy I had been using.

I've been tinkering around with the same thing, only for on my upper arms.

I used to joke around about getting a fishnet shirt that had little pockets over every square inch. Fill pockets as needed.

There used to be a company that would sell one that you could use on your toes. I believe it was called toasty toes. It was awesome. I’ve looked for replacement for years.

Love the ideas on this site.

Hothands and heat factory both make these at a minimum. They're readily available around here via cabelas and mills fleet farm, and looks like amazon as well.

The one I used was a heavy canvas material that would fit on the outside of your boot. It was lined with silver material, can’t remember how it attached to the shoe.

A boot blanket? Those are different from tosti toes...there sre a bunch of companies making them.

You guys ever get alot of shivers using hand warmers and makes you feel colder then not having to use any?

I have thought about the pockets as well. I use the sticky ones over my kidneys and heart, but they can fall off. I think I first read this trick from an article by John Eberhart about 20 years ago.

So first run.... i used one large one is each. My kidneys got burned to crap in the way in as my pack pressed it into me hard. Had to take it out at the base of the tree and stick it in my muff (that's what she said)

The upper back one 8s nice especially with the back band holding it against me.
