Tried @Nutterbuster birria tacos!!!! My new favorite shank recipe Wow! My wife who is not a Venison fan ate 2. I have a
hard time getting her to try a "no thank you" bite of anything venison

Goat recipes and old (like pre 1800) European venison recipes for things like sausage and stew are the way to go for deer. You gotta find cuisines not impacted by modern industrial farming that know how to handle animals that arent the equivalent of obese preteens.

My wife absolute hates chili but with her mom staying with us for a while I have a good excuse to cook chili. Still simmering and pre-adding of the kidney beans.

My wife isn't a big fan so I will make it and freeze smaller portions for later. I made this batch for easy ice fishing eats. We are going to a derby and are going to spend Friday through Sunday on the ice.
