How have your T one sticks held up?

OMG, just for the sheer sake of this hopefully making it to youtube, I hope upon many things holy that this happens.
I’ll provide the opossum in any state of decay or alive if though shalt wish...but consider it could break the bank I doubt they do a total recall

I swear if it’s not one thing with this company it’s another. If they issue a full refund and recall I will eat the rear end out of a possum.
Possum is not bad at all, just don't over cook it.

I bet they are wishing they haven't mention the words chemical weld.

Just some food for thought....a split roll pin is tight (press fit) in the bore hole. It is always exerting pressure from the ID to the OD as apposed to a bolt that's floating in a hole. It is not going to wallow a hole as apposed to a bolt which has slop and will allow holes to wallow. What is the size of the pin tethrd used? A 1/8 roll pin is rated for almost 2000 pounds and 3/16 pin is over 4000

However… in this application either the step or the post is moving on the roll pin as the step rocks back and forth. It’s gonna wear. Something will give.

Might be a good reason for square tubing.....

What is going to give? Hardened roll pin, titanium tubing, or the step/stand off assembly? What is the steps made of?. Aluminum?

I can see the holes drilled through the extremely thin walled titanium tube and the aluminum steps ovalizing or cracking the tempered aluminum step from smacking back and forth on every step on that small roll pin. I don’t know what the roll pin is.

Blows my mind people still buy their products

if you ain’t careful you’ll wind up on their pro staff. So you best watch what you say.

Could a coupling nut inside the titanium tube with two grade 8 bolts work as a replacement for the pin ?
That’s a small hole in the stand off that may not be a big enough bolt to work.
Or they could machine out a puck drilled and tapped that goes inside the tube and that may also cut down on the hollow tube noise.

That's crazy talk! Just think of all the weight that would add :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

I’m surprised none of these issues showed up in endurance testing (assuming they did some). I would expect they used and abused some of these before they put them on the market and, as quickly as y’all seem to be having issues with them, it should’ve shown up.

Hopefully this is just a hiccup in the release of a new product. Will be interested to see their response!
