Yep, this is huge. Most of the places we've hunted out west would have taken 2 hours one way every day to get there. That just doesn't work for me.Camping is a great way to save money. Both by not paying for a hotel, and not wasting gas driving to/from hunting spots. I’m all about it, especially if you’re heading west.
Sorry to hear you don't have any friends @rutjr - I'll be your friend.I had a couple friends that I used to hunt and camp with. Those were awesome times. Alas they are gone now.

Thanks @DanO I have friends just none that like to camp and hunt.
Thanks for sharing your story, it was a good read!My first deer (and buck) was taken while camping on my hunting spot in the George Washington National Forest in Virginia. Great hunt! All by myself. Here is the story to that hunt if interested. https://storiale.wordpress.com/2019...story-george-washington-national-forest-2000/
Man I've always wanted a tear dropBought this camper for hunting trips and summer camping with the boss.
With a small Yamaha generator it’s a compact all in one unit. Has a full kitchen with norcold frig, small gas stove. Fan and AC and a electric blanket for really cold weather. Have camped in sub 20’s and didn’t need the electric blanket. 15 gal water storage also. Only weighs 1200 lbs. I pull it with my taco or the boss’s Honda Pilot. Not roughing it by no means but less set up and break down.
