It's very nicely made and very light. I really wanted it to work. The issue is that I ignored the 8" minimum tree diameter, guessing it was a CYA suggestion to keep you out of spindly trees.
Nope, the angle adjust screw is in the way so that on a tree that is 7.75" the teeth won't touch the tree enough no matter what you do.
Too often, I have to make a setup work and at height the tree is like 7" across. The gold standard "basketball sized" tree is 9.5" in diameter, so 8" is not some unheard of tiny thing that no one in their right mind would hunt.
If they move the angle adjust to another spot, I'll buy it again tomorrow.
