HS Lifeline with JX3

Moving to a saddle. My buddy and I hunt private land so were converting our hang ons to saddle presets.
I have previously been using a RC harness connected to my HS lifeline to ascend.
With the RC its simple with a short tether off the center loop but not sure how this can be done with JX3.
Searched site and dont see much on the topic. Instead of linesman rope I want to ascend presets with sticks using the HS lifeline then once up set the tether and bridge in. Any suggestions appreciated.
Also wondering whats a cost effective ring of steps for 10 presets.
