Hunting Bike?

I figured out a way to carry my platform without having to buy a rear rack.

Watch out that u don’t bang knee to the platform corner or teeth

Also they have small racks that just cantilever back off of the seat post that dont have bottom braces going to axle

Just sticks out over tire

Not super strong but should be fine for platform and frees up pedaling space

So here’s my first attempt at a trailer hitch for my bike. I’ll be able to haul my deer cart and kayak with this.

The screw link rattled quite a bit. I thought some tape on the eyelets should help.

What other ideas for a hitch are out there?

I used to have one of those. It was awesome. I already have a deer cart. I’d like to try and use what I have right now.
Thanks

I am really considering dropping the money on a rad power bike. They are about 1600$. Right now i have a trek bike with a burley trailer that I use on a walk in WMA. Funny how nobody is mpre than 1000 yds in!

If you let me know your local craigslist I can help look. It's fun finding $1200 bikes for $150.

You can help look for me. My ebike slid off the back of my truck tonight as I pulled through an intersection and was subsequently ran over by a large van. It’s trashed. Only had it a month.

I tried a bike several years back. It was a mountain bike. With regular tires. The mud trail I was on made it seem like more work than walking. I quit on it. Went back to walking. Everything I am walking through is water ankle deep or just gumbo mud.

That’s where fat tires shine.

I'm still a rookie but I found everything on my back worked best. Even my bow. I definitely did not like my bow on the handle bars, at least the trails I was taking.

Especially if you have no front suspension

That's why I went with the trek roscoe, its sorta a cross between a fat bike and a 29er.Its been a lot of fun so far and it'll be a great hunter!

You have pics of your bike?

I'm looking for a rugged Bow holder for my handle bars. Also actually an IPhone holder too.
Any suggestions?

I use a Jakt Gear bow sling and throw the bow over my back right over my backpack. Rides great. My bow doesn’t absorb all the shock it would if it were mounted to the handlebars or something else on the bike.
I just saw last night a link to a phone holder for bikes. I’m following several links and don’t remember where I saw it.

That makes sense especially the way I ride, I know they say "it's like riding a bike".
I have lost a lot of my skills from my BMX days years ago...

There is a company that makes a unit you attach to your backpack that you use to hang you bow from. You attach a peg like devise to your stabilizer hole and it slides into the unit. You can grab your bow by reaching up and pulling it up any time. They looked interesting to me and I’ve though many times of getting one. They make a coupe styles. About $70. Wish I could remember the name of it.
