The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. I did add the Z mods and went up from 65lb factory mod to 70 with the Z mod. MUCH smoother draw and feels like less poundage than the 65.

This year, “Blondie” is up in the rotation. All curly maple Silvertip recurve, 64”, 45lb@28”,with a Mountain Muffler Dacron string. She’ll be throwin’ 30” Easton 2016’s wearing three 3” white trad vanes, some kinda glow nock, 565 gr total weight with a 190 gr Swamp Shark up front!

Same bow as last year. The one on top in the pic below. It’s 53# @ my 29.5” draw. I went with a lighter arrow this year, a 350 spine Safari Tuff Taipan 535gr TAW with 200gr up front. I will be using @BTaylor broadhead for whitetail and either a 2 blade cut throat or an 1-1/8” 3 blade VPA for elk.

I’ve been toying with the idea of switching my arrow/broadhead setup, as I’d like to shoot a heavier arrow, but am running out of time on that. What I have now is dialed and I know it works.

I’ve been toying with the idea of switching my arrow/broadhead setup, as I’d like to shoot a heavier arrow, but am running out of time on that. What I have now is dialed and I know it works.
This year I'm using my new Bob Lee Shikari recurve. 60" 47@30". I'm using Chinese carbon 400 spine shafts with 100 grain inserts and 190 grain Simmons Swamp sharks. It's a 560 grain set up shooting at 178 fps and 26.2% FOC. Whisper quiet and accurate.

Plan on taking some with my Omega Royal Huntsman 48@28” so I’m probably pulling around 45#
Still playing with arrow weight. I tried to get a little more speed by knocking off 50 grains going from 100 to 50 on the insert but it with broadheads it was too stiff.
Going to try 75gr insert this weekend which should put me at about 530 TAW.
Safari Tuff Kobra’s 400 spine, HIT insert, stainless collar, 125gr point with voyager feathers.

Same bow I have been shooting, Stalker fxt with acs limbs, doug fir arrows with either my head or simmons tree sharks for one set of arrows but built a second set for some zwickey 4 blade eskimos that I have a bunch of too.

My budget setup bow 45lb Deerseeker Dimond Vendetta 600 spine arrows with 19% FOC with 125gr. single bevel tree shark broadhead copys. Love this bow!

Yeah I was shocked how nice it was for the money and it shoots like a dream!
A little more on your arrow please. How are you getting 19% FOC with only 125gr?
I have used this or just do the math myself.

Will be alternating between 2 ASL longbows. I got them tuned to use the same arrows. Trying to decide if l want to take off perfectly good fletching so l can put turkey feathers that l got from another forum member. Both bows are around 41-43lbs.

Arrow are 2114 Easton aluminum 30in with 225 grain up front. 615gn total for 14.5gpp.

Neither of which you shot at ETAR.
I got them in trades at ETAR. Im confident in my usual bow enough that l want to try something new for next season.
