I see some changes, like how the pole extension adjustment is on the side which I dont see as much of an improvement but overall the new bags design look very unfriendly to tree stand or saddle. They took away pockets and add in molle rolls....basically telling you to buy more things to attach. I'm really glad now that I got the 28. JMHO.
