So as a climbing method and for my step platform- I have 12 wild edge stepps, the carry bag and a single step aider. I've gotten decent putting up my steps and my platform...but haven't really tested out the aider yet.

My Mantis saddle kit should delivered on Wednesday-giving me about 2 weeks to become proficient-lol! My kit includes: the Mantis saddle, tetherd tree tether, mantis recliner, microdot adjuster, Tethrd lineman's belt, and ropeman 1 ascender.

I've also ordered some Arcteryx knee pads.

I'm sure there is a ton of other things I'm not even aware I'm missing at this point?

All that is missing is a weapon and a deer...oh and 3 other climbing methods to try out.

Really though, you have/need a pack and a way to hang it? That's really all I see that is missing.

Oh yeah...I do have a bow and a pack! The deer hasn’t been tied to a nearby tree yet! I don’t think SYS haulers come with my kit...so it sounds like 2 of those will be necessary, a 2nd Ropeman, and a gear strap will also be necessary?

Another ropeman would make your life heaven. 1 for tether 1 for the lineman rope

You don't necessarily need SYS haulers for your ropes. I girth hitch my ropes to my LB loops and daisy chain them up. I do have 2 SYS haulers but I use them for other stuff, mainly for the convenience of not having to dig through my pack. For my gear strap, it's just a long loop of paracord that I girth hitch around the tree with a distel hitch at the end so I can set the height of my pack. I then hang s-biners for my "at the ready" gear and hang my bow off a hero clip. You're super close to complete with potentially very little left to invest for what's left.

Bow/gun haul line of some sort. Never carry anything up or down a tree with your hands. Get set then haul it up or down.

Cheap carabiners for gear hanging purposes only. I use them to attach my predator stand as I climb and as a quick disconnect for my haul line. Also use them for calls and to attach my bag to the gear strap. Some wire ties may be helpful too depending on your preferences and needs.

I'd also just add that you should just try to get in as many reps as you can with setting up. Pack it all up, hike it in, climb, and shoot all 360 degrees. You may get rid of things or change things depending on your preferences. 7am, opening morning with a 150 class coming from your 3 o'clock is the wrong time to figure out that you don't know how to smoothly transition your bow to your weak side because the bridge is in the way.
