Not the best tree to practice out of. Wasn’t quite right so I let down, but as I was letting down I bumped the trigger.

Glad no one was there to get hurt. Arrows are no joke, I shot several through my shed walls when I first started.

A simple square frame with legs, and a ¾in thick rubber horse mat from a fleet supply store should stop mostly any wild arrows you might have. That's what I have for a backstop.

Arrows are no joke. Glad everyone is ok.

20 years ago, I was practicing with a Muzzy 3 blade with new blades. I hit the center of a shot out deer target. The arrow went through the deer, through the plywood front of my Dad's shed, through 2 dry wall buckets that were nested inside each other, out the back of the shed, and stuck in the dirt.

Mid evil archers used a draw weight exceeding 100# they were phased out with the invention of gun powder. Could you imagine drawing 100# on a regular basis??

We used to have a video from PSE we used in our Bowhunting class that showed a Zwickey going right through a 5 gallon bucket filled with sand and bullets couldn't penetrate it. This is great. From the shoulder patch and airborne tab.... looked like original Green Beret's to me!!! Very cool video.
