We went mid June before these lingcod came in season so I had to throw this back but you should hit it in July. Oh and don’t be a fool like me and not hold your own fish for the picture haha. This is one of the guides.

Lingcod is one of the species I want to catch.
I booked with Valdez Saltwater Adventures.
They had a ton of very good reviews.

Man, that’s the kind of haul I was hoping for! I’ll have to write that name down!

Full disclosure that’s the boats catch. They let everyone get an impressive picture with the whole catch. I caught my limit which was 2 halibut per day at that time. I’m not sure your body can handle much more unless your a power lifter. These things are like dragging up an old shipwreck from the ocean floor and I didn’t even catch a monster. My big one was like 60lb.
