Didn't see slot of deer but the ones I did I practiced hiding behind the trees I was in so the bucks and does wouldn't see me. This is the biggest game changer for saddle hunters in my opinion. The non resident hunting pressure in Iowa was intense to say the least. A 12pt and 10pt were shot and lost on the same ridge line I was hunting and in a matter of three days the deer vacated the area. On the fourth nite coming out I thought I was attending Doobie Brothers concert with all the lites coming off of every mountain top. I moved to another area where I could get deeper than anyone else. I used a northwest wind to my advantage and set up on a ridge top that had a big buck bed with melted snow. I set up 10 yrds from this bed at 9:30am and had him come to his bed at 4:15. Had him at 5yrds for several minutes eating ice...center punched him at 22yrds and watched him hi kick 40 yrds chest to the ground death run. It was an awesome experience as I've never had a buck come back to his bed to lay down right in front of me. He did look up at me but I was behind the tree hiding and he never spooked or thought much about what was up in that tree...Also I chose FMJ arrows thiscseason and had a clean pass thru that went right the other shoulder...unbelievable

If you look you'll see my buck lying thru the leaves top center about 40 yrds out
