I gotta feeling team 9 will make a showing! Better get a change in the weather here in PA though, we've had so much rain and humidity, the skeeters are starting to look like buzzards!

That’s the only kind of mosquitoes we got in Louisiana. You can hear the bones crack when you smash em.

Am I supposed to be going to see some family around Pittsburgh in November. Is there any good public land close to Pittsburgh?

I'm 4hrs east. I have friends that say the Sw corner (WMU2A) is the ticket for big deer. Pittsburgh proper (2B)has a lot of special regulations areas with extended seasons.

I can't help you out with any PA spots but, if your car happens to breaks down 2 hours south at the PA/MD border, I'd be happy to hook you up with some public land spots in MD. There's a couple decent hotels for the family to stay in close by while the car gets 'fixed'. Just sayin....

I got another 6 days till season starts. They gotta be careful about how early they unleash us on the herd!
But seriously, I'm getting the shakes. Packed and unpacked my backpack several times, have clothes washed, heads sharpened... Just waiting on the word go... And the wife to confirm I have all my chores done
