Went for my first try at some Deer Jerky. I dont have a dehydrator and can tend to be a little impatient in the kitchen. I had some steaks from a kill last season and wanted to give it a go! I skewered the pieces to create a "rack" so the meat could hang and cook more evenly. Saw this on youtube!
45 min at about 180, then a little shuffling around and back in another 15 min!

Season to your liking, and send it! IMG_2057.JPEG

Got a finished product pic? Air fryers are awesome. We have a slightly large one that has a rotisserie in it and a couple of oven type racks. We use it for almost everything. I bet we didn't use the oven more then a handful of times all summer. I hadn't considered jerky but, will definitely give this a try.

Here it is! It’s pretty dang good for my first go around!
