John Eberhart Scentlok Suit

I've found it interesting the comparison between Eberhart and Infalt when it comes to scent control. They both consistently kill monsters. Eberhart seems to put scent control as #1, whereas Infalt seems to almost ignore it completely and only works the wind. I've seen a few of Infalt's hunt videos where he's wearing what I assume is yesterday's T-shirt, and I'd be willing to bet he had not even showered or brushed his teeth that day

And they both consistently stick the big ones. I just think it is a noteworthy comparison in their styles. And it has begun to shape my choices in both scent control and working the wind.
I’m sure I’ll catch flak for this but here it goes. I think both Hunters are awesome in there own right, but you can’t tell me that your scent control is eliminated with ScentLoc when your 30 ft in the air. Which he admits is his common height. I do agree that the ScentLoc reduces your scent if properly worn. I think overall that wind is the deciding factor. I’m no big buck slayer by any means but I’ve taken my fair share of deer and 90% with a bow. The only time I’ve really ever seen deer disregard my scent is during the rut and that’s still no guarantee. I’ve had deer that have been down wind that never spooked but I think that was luck or a fluke. I think I would much rather hunt based on conditions than be the “ boy in the plastic bubble”. I’ve tried the scent control religiously when I started out. I see as many if not more deer by playing the conditions and being smart about other factors “and that’s still no guarantee!” Good luck to all no matter what method you choose.

Deer or not, nobody wants to be the stinky kid.

To me, a huge advantage, if you believe in the activated carbon technology, is tossing your clothing into the drier for a spell to make it neutral.

My Sitka stuff fits better and functions better, but often I'm washing and drying to de-scent (if there's such a thing) and my wife doesn't appreciate it when it runs late after a day of hunting.

Scentlok is half the time.

Plus, Scentlok works, lol.

The main reason I don't have a scent suit is I bought one of the ealiest versions.
It worked so good I called it the fart suit because I went as far as to fart in the presence of deer.
Unfortunately it was not as rip proof as it was scent effective.
It tore on my first outing and I sewed it up only to have it tear again.
I was disappointed and eventually out money.
That was my first and last scent suit.
They maybe better these days but I been doing without them and I'm getting old, working too much to get out like I used to.
You guys that are country living are living it up!
That was me in my prime!
I'm an urban cowboy now.

I have several pieces that i hunted with this year and had no quality issues except the backpack had a handle come loose and they refunded me.

Hm I wonder if this will be another "coming soon" product... Though those complaints were with different companies in the past...

If that's the saddle suit, kinda underwhelmed.

Doesn't look like it does anything different than any other hunting outer garment. I'm Looking for an outer layer system that goes OVER the saddle, not under it.

Not to mention the only camo option sucks.
