Recently received a new 2021 tactisaddle from john. The is my first saddle. I have limited experience with saddles. Here is a pic3D06A60B-4EB9-46AA-BE4D-AB18AAB3CD79.jpeg

here is a link to a quick YouTube video that I just did.

Good video. Bonus points for ball sacks.

How long did you sit in it? Did the webbing dig into your legs any or did it distribute weight pretty good?

Thank you. Lol, sorry that slipped. Tried to be pc nowadays is tough. I sat in the saddle a total of 4 hours. 2 each day before we got hammered with the snow in the north east. The webbing did not dig in to me at all. I thought I’d feel my butt checks slipping between the webbing but I didn’t. The saddle distributed my weight really well. When I had it in the “climbing mode” it still felt good leaning or sitting. At first i had a hard time with adjusting the bridge until I read the instructions... typical man move I guess.

It’s definitely not as pretty as others, but for me in the short amount of time it was very functional. I’m really looking fwd to learning this new type of hunting.

Sorry I only have a limited time in the saddle and can’t give a full review. I wasn’t going to post anything until someone made a good point on here. Good, bad or indifferent , people should know.

I used his other briefly and was impressed with the weight and build quality. I mostly sit and couldn’t find the sweet spot I was looking for. Might give the new one a try if I can find a good deal on one.
