I received this twice last week, it must be a sign!
Morris and his wife Esther went to the fair every year, and every year Morris said: 'Esther, I would really like to sit in that helicopter'.
Esther would always reply: 'I know that, Morris, but that helicopter flight costs fifty dollars, and fifty dollars is fifty dollars.'
One year, Esther and Morris went to the fair, and Morris said: "Esther, I am 85 years old. If I don't get in that helicopter, I might never get another chance."
To this Esther replied: 'Morris, that helicopter flight costs fifty dollars, and fifty dollars is fifty dollars.'
The pilot heard the couple and said: "People, I have a proposal for you. I'm taking both of you for a ride. If you stay quiet the whole ride and don't say a word, I won't charge a cent! But if you say one word, it's fifty dollars."
Morris and Esther agreed, and off they went. The pilot performed all sorts of strange maneuvers, but not a word was heard. He did his daredevil tricks again and again, but still not a word.
When they had landed, the pilot turned to Morris and said: "man, I did everything I could to make you scream, but you didn't. I'm impressed!"
Morris replied: "Well, to tell you the truth, I almost said something when Esther fell out, but you know, fifty dollars is fifty dollars!"
