Just acquired a vertical milling machine and a metal lathe

No owners manual come with the machine? We have an old bridgeport at work with an aftermarket older outdated cnc control similar to the 1 in ur pic also and no body know how to use it and can't find a manual...we use it as a glorified drill press and definitely don't use the machine to it true potential

I am friendly with the previous owner, but he is a busy man. If I cant find a manual or cant make it work without his guidance I will begin to gently bug him. I dont wanna make him regret abandoning the machine by making him teach me to use it though.

As far as I know he was using this machine regularly to make radon detecting devices as recently and 6 months ago.

Im so jealous!! Been a machinist for 25+ years. I wish i had those two items. I do recommend taking some courses for the safety aspect. Ever need advice, hit me up.

Drums and rotors maybe.... Newbie stay outta them heads or some dirt tracker be knocking u block off
I thought there would be more potential liability with drums and rotors. Who would have thought it would be with the heads? :D
