The bag has been used but is in great shape without tears or stains from a pet and smoke free home. It has an internal frame, storable hip belt with pockets, adjustable shoulder straps, and sternum strap. It has a main opening with bladder pocket and small zip pocket. Smaller opening contains an organizer with several pouches two zipped pockets and a padded glasses pouch. The very front of the pack has an external pocket that is nice for binoculars or to stuff extra clothes. It has side pockets and side compression straps. It also has its own rain shield that stores in a pocket on the bottom.
