So there’s nothing new or ground breaking to this but I thought I’d share. I have a kestrel and love it, but the factory rope bridge was to bulky. I like thAt it was detachable on a side getting the bridge out of the way for gearing up and walking. I did some playing around and made an Amsteel adjustable bridge that still has one side removable and ditched the biner for an 8mm triangle link. Saved me some weight and definitely some size so figured may interest some of you. Plus I like an adjustable length bridge for one sticking and rappelling.

Very impressive. I was tinkering with the same thing last year. I have the same saddle but didn't like the bulky bridge. I was do some rope splicing to create my own adjustable bridge. I like the way you added that triangle.

Thank you sir! Triangle fits very well with the bridge loops.

Nice! I’m looking around for ideas or how to’s on making a removable bridge. I hunt with the solitude jacket that has the openings in the side, want to pass my bridge through so my jacket doesn’t ride up.
Would a caribiner work for a connection point?

Sure does sir, I played with triangle link and carabiner. Carabiner was actually easier and faster to be honest.
