Kifaru Duplex Lite vs Duplex Tactical?

Stratus bibs, jacket, and Ambush on the meat shelf, 3 hoodies in the main bag just to fill it out, I can easily access anything in that main bag without undoing straps or changing my load at all, zero load movement on that shelf, everything is tight, I’m starting to think this is going to be a winner, no more jumping on things to fit in small pockets, and a weight like this on a frame of this caliber is a complete joke, it feels like nothing.F92658E1-6161-4FD3-916E-C7B396B2DEB7.jpeg

@JCLINE84. What color is your 22 mag? I have such a hard time determining the difference on computer between the wolf gray and ranger green. Also do you ever carry any gear between the pack and frame and if so, is it easy to do? I keep going back and forth between the stryker xl and the 22 mag.

Looks good! You could still add a belt pouch or two to the outside of the pack if you needed storage for smaller items. Really looking forward to my Stryker getting here. I went with MC too.

I don't want to speak for Jamie, but Ranger green is easy to differentiate from Wolf gray by the webbing color.

after trying to keep up with a mountain goat (half my age) for a week in Ohio, I took his idea and expanded on it. Still more mods coming, but this is what I hunted with this past season. Tactical frame with Stryker molle sleeve. Modified E&E pack. Medium pouch for ropes. EWO one-stick or Tethrd ONE stick/Predator. 200 yards in or 2 miles. Thanks, Mike Isbell at Backwoods Mobile Gear (and Bryan Landrys Stick Talons) cbigbear

Glad to see more guys using frame packs. I keep trying to find other systems and I can’t stop just wanting to stop searching and use my frame pack! I’m not cool enough for kifaru yet but I love how versatile a frame pack is. Sticks, clothes, platform, gun, bow, hunting stuff all fits and you can fit it whichever way you want. Are you guys using sticks and stuff as well? The last several setups I’ve not seen sticks in the pictures

That’s the thing I keep preaching to the guys that think it’s overkill. The same people think I carry too much stuff. But it hauls 40-50 pounds like it’s not even there

My stuff is ranger green. I like that wolf grey a lot too. I have played around with things between the pack and frame and don’t like it with the 22 mag. I think the striker packs are awesome too and I’ll probably try to pick a used one up just to try it. If I was carrying a set of sticks, a blind, tree stand, etc the striker would be a no brainer. The platform pack strapped to the frame is the best way with the 22 mag. If I’m using the one stick I just strap it to the front of the pack using the gear loops on the sides of the frame. So basically I have no advice in either direction lol. They’re both awesome.

And my rifle fits perfect behind the Sherman pocket, the possibilities are endless, I feel like a little kid with a new Lego set..View attachment 60783
I just got a Sherman pocket to try out. Doubling as a rifle scabbard is a plus. These things are so modular man. Can’t say enough good things about them.

I dont use multiple sticks anymore, but its a simple thing to rig them on the side, especially with Stick Talons

Compression straps will hold 4 sticks to the side of pretty much any Kifaru frame pack very easily.

With my 22 mag I put sticks on one side, platform on the back, and just used two straps. Never put anything between bag and frame.

I think I've said it before in this thread, but 22 Mag worked better for me than the Stryker XL. But, I also have a separate 24" frame and a hoodlum if I really need to carry a ton of gear.
