Anyone use these? Looking to see if it will be a good way to carry rifle hands free for entry and exit into public

I love mine. It's like it was made perfectly for the JX3. You should be able to use it with any pack with a belt and shoulder straps.

Kifaru gunbearer is the best way to "hunt" with a rifle. Hands free hiking, and I can have my gun to my shoulder in about three seconds with no noise.

It's a bit unnerving to have expensive glass hanging around flopping. Having said that, I've logged at least 200 miles with it and it's never come undone. Just don't forget your rifle's there when you shed your pack in a hurry.

I'm sure you can make something similar easily, and a couple other pack companies have something similar. But the concept is great. I've seen some folks get their bow set up in it too - I just haven't had time to tinker.

This looks nicer than the a Stone Glacier option. SG, to put gun back in, one has to take off the pack.

Yup, another thing to buy.

Thx for the info.

I like the stone glacier besides that fact.

I like to use my sternum strap at different lengths to alter weight throughout the day. I’m not sure I could handle the barrel in my face all day like this kifaru. You can’t argue with that draw though.

I’ve got a Kifaru gun bearer. It’s impressive how fast you can be in your gun from that set up. I hardly ever use it though. I need to get it back out and see if I can get it dialed in a little better. I felt like I was getting a little hip pain on my side that the rifle was on. I was guessing that it was the extra weight on my hip belt but I need to give it another try.

If you get it back out and don’t like it, let me know, I’d be interested in it
