What do you guys prefer between the 2? Pros and cons outside of price and if modifications were done list it.

Two great saddles. What are your expectations? Plan to wear the saddle in or pack it in? Would you choose all day comfort or trade that for better packability? Do you have any particular quirks such as scent/noise paranoia issues?

Wear saddle in if possible or pack down into small bag. Biggest thing is comfort really I guess I’m a bigger set guy 6’2 about 240 lb I see the saddles and just worry about the comfort mostly. But the scent is another thing I hunt in Louisiana so one day it’s 35 next hour later it’s 75 so I also like something than can breathe pretty good For scent issues. As far as noise I haven’t seen where noise is an issue with saddles it’s mostly the gear that packs with it.

I really hate to recommend specific models because what I like the next guy may not care for. It's a pretty big cash outlay to go off internet reviews. I've been in four commercial saddles and I could hunt out of all of them. The Flex is my favorite so far. I like the Kite a lot too. I haven't got to try the new terhrd saddle yet.

The best option of all is to try a bunch with the saddle meetups. I know @denots is in your region, maybe they have a meetup somewhere local?

Id really like to go to a saddle meet up and see the different options but most of the saddle meet ups are just too far for me. Ifinally met someone the other day on public with the tether mantis setup I did like it but just looking at it doesn’t say enough without testing it myself. I like the aero hunter more less because it’s a company that has been around for some time now and hear a lot of people recommend them. I would really like to see a meet up somewhere in the area relatively close to me to go to.

As I creep this conversation from the outside , I noticed "meetups" . Is there a section , or things already set? That's eexaclty what im trying to do. It can be kinda difficult navigating the forum because there is soooo much info, conversations, and sections.

There isn't a dedicated section for them but, there are some members that organize meetups occasionally. Currently, you just have to keep an eye out for them but, a dedicated section might not be a bad idea.

In the meantime check out the Saddle hunter map. There may be someone close to you that is willing to meet you one on one.

That's what I'm doing for now. Already have 2 man dates. Once I'm proficient enough, I'll be posting something for S.E. Pa guys to come to my place. I'm gonna set up a few trees, targets & bbq.
