Knushion vs Knee Pads - which would you prefer?

stay up better than what? I have never had a problem with the trophyline ones staying in place.

I have some $10 working/garden knees pads. When hiking they shift down to my ankles. Not a huge complaint just curious if the volleyball ones could be put on it stay on all even if hiking.

I've been using vintage trophyline pads for 15 years and my knees feel great....its the rest of me that's beat up.

I have these and they are pretty darn good:

Thanks. Those look good, but at $70 a pair, I might try out the Trophyline first. But I already filled my PA tag my first day in the saddle, so I'm just looking ahead to next year. (I think I'll be selling my tree stands!)

I hear you on that. I got them as that’s what everyone said were the best and I can say that are pretty impressive. I’m getting some Trophyline pads for Christmas, I think, so I’ll report back with a comparison. I know some of the reviews I’ve seen have been very positive.

I DIY'ed a two panel saddle, when using it I got an old turkey hunting pad, I keep it hanging from my pack. When at hunting height I hang my pack right in front of me, puts the pad right at knee level. I'm mostly a leaner, but when I sit I live the cushion.
My other saddle is a JX3, no need of a knee cushion at all! And super super comfy!

Trophyline knee pads are awesome but they are the only ones I've bought. Don't have an issue wearing them in either.

I have the Knushion, it’s okay if you are not relying on it ALL the time. The only time I even set the thing up is if I am hunting all day. Just use it to give me a slight break from “standing” all the time and to help with shots. Goes flat after a few minutes, but it is better than resting your knee directly on the tree. It lets you remain comfortable instead of strapping knee pads on....which are usually strapped on with Velcro.....which is a bow hunters WORST enemy.

I just mapped out my steps from yesterday scout/hunt at 8 miles....I adjusted the straps maybe 3 times. I can't speak for them all but the vintage trophyline knee pads stay up while walking.
Yup, love mine. Never walk with them on but I'll have to try now

Ive been using my bow sling folded over right where my knees make contact and it’s clipped around the tree. Multi use bow sling

Knushion, takes very little space and maybe a minute to set up. The only knee pads I don’t mind wearing are on my crye and Patagonia multicams because they don’t wrap around the leg and are fit into the pants them selves.
Does the knushion bunjie stretch far enough to lock around the tree? on their website it only shows it grabbing the sides?
