It’s still in the same direction of the force applied when camming over. That top angle on the ambush helps it cut in & points on bottom hold it. Same for beast sticks that bottom angle cuts in when weighted & top point catches (for the most part) helps hold in place.That is interesting that the top side of the teeth are angled. The beast stick angles the bottom side of the stand-off teeth.
