Anyone know where I can buy a piece of Kydex to make a bow holder for my tree strap.?
Everything I've found is buying multiple and bigger pieces. Hate to have all that extra left over when I only need a piece big enough for the holder.

Instead of making a bow holder from kydex, I made one from a piece of 3/4" x 1/8" aluminum. I bent the hook shape by clamping one end to a table and then bending it around a dowel. I rounded the end of the aluminum hook using a Dremel. The pic was after I first made it, but I've since painted it black so it's not so shiny up in the tree.

Send me dimensions and I’ll make one for shipping. It may not be beautiful…but mine works and I’ve got a couple more sheets of kydex

However, if your using a tree strap, I’d recommend a j hook from EWO on your strap and some stiff paracord or I use d loop material to put a loop on bow riser. When u hang loop on kydex j hook, it sits lower in tree than kydex on bow.

Excellent idea!! Why can’t I think of alternatives like this.

great idea. This could be used many different ways from hanging on your belt while practicing in the yard, hang on saddle molle, tree strap, endless possibilties.

That is an awesome offer and thank you.
I found a local holster maker and he said he had some extras that I could have.
Thank you again for the offer

I hadn't even thought of these other uses. I only tried it with my HYS style strap I made, but it worked awesome for that. Slides in and out super easily and quietly.
