I see Kuiu dropped some sales.

Got a notification Bear Archery is supposed to do some kinda crossbow clearance sale tomorrow.

Amsteel guy has %20 off.

Do any of y'all have an online arrow builder that you'd recommend? I've always bought arrows off the shelf, and wanted to see what my options are for something more custom before I go hog wild on an arrow saw and fletching jigs to start rolling my own.

What a steal.

Lancaster or Podium Archer. I've used both. Podium responds relatively quick to emails.

Asio is up to 30%. Unfortunately everything in my cart is only 20% and that was available with a welcome code I already had but was hoping would be greater starting today. Still ordering more than I will keep to try on and figure out the layers I want.

I grabbed one of the Asio leafy jackets. I saw then at the expo, and they’re nice. Very well made.

Man I was so happy to see that Kuiu has a sale going on, but like their previous sales, I'm utterly disappointed. I've been wanting to pick up their Ranger 2200 backpack and it's never on sale. And call me cheap but I'm not paying $230 for it.

You should just go hog wild on an arrow saw and fletching jig. Nobody will put the time into it like you will.
I even go as far as orienting my inserts so that my single bevels are all vertical when on the arrow rest.

I was just talking about vane and broadhead orientation at work the other day. Do you think it matters? And if so, why?

Let me start by saying that I probably do a lot of things that don’t truly matter, but it makes me feel good.
Does lining a three blade broadhead up with the three vanes matter??? No and I learned that from an actual rocket scientist (ranch fairy’s buddy)
I do it with my 2 blades because I picture how an arrow bends as it leaves the bow. ~~~
I would think a sideways 2 blade would act like a whale tale but vertical should just slice up and down through the air. Does it matter, maybe and maybe not, but I do feel consistency is the most important part of archery and if nothing else, all my arrows leave the bow exactly the same.

Blade/Vane alignment is a persistent urban myth. I'd even go a step further in saying that to do so you are likely introducing error, not eliminating it. Anyway, it's a waste of time...and doing so may hurt, not help.

I make sure all the screws on every outlet in my house are aligned perfectly. It doesn’t help with anything but it makes me feel better. Probably the same with blade/vane alignment.
I’m a union electrician. Screws aligned vertically is the way. I had an old timer tell me once that the reason screws aligned vertically is the correct way to do it versus aligned horizontally, is because when the slot is vertical, it won’t gather dust.
