Looks like the guys at latitude have been listening. Some of the changes to the Method, they also made to the Classic for us more traditional saddle users. This looks like the perfect saddle with all the improvements I was hoping to see. The Classic is still my favorite saddle. Can’t wait to get in the “my new” favorite saddle!

What changes did they make to the saddle? At first glace it isn't inherently obvious to me.

Made it a little bigger and changed the legs strap buckles. Also went to a buckles waist belt. I never tried the rope belt. I had no issues with the buckle on the 1st version.

Dang very nice looking. Looking to hear what others think( looking at you @enkriss ) before I dive in. I hated both the Latitude and latitude 2

Had this one for a couple weeks. Definitely like it… feels real similar to the first one with upgraded leg loops, amsteel bridge, metal free belt and a sexier color scheme.

I used the first one most of the season last year. I like this one the best of all the saddles I tried.

Pretty cool! I have the original classic and honestly don’t have any big issues with it! The rope belt would be cool tho. I’m surprised more people don’t have this saddle.

I love the the simplicity of the classic and will probably use it more than my phantom this year

appreciate the kind words on the first glance at the new Classic bigmike23, if there were any specific issues with the Method 2 that you’d be open to sharing with our team (in private message, not on thread) we’d love to get your feedback, always striving to get better and remove issues we may have either overlooked or not prioritized enough in testing. Give me a shout on here anytime, thanks!

Hey @kmleach, I just got an original Method 2 days ago. So far I like it. Only have about 8 climbs (one-sticking) and an hour and a half of hang time in it.
I tied a Blake’s Hitch for a buckless waist belt. Is that what you guys used? I did some searching and that's what a few guys thought it came with...

Been waiting for this. Looks great. Ordered one minute ago. Look forward to trying ‘er out!

I also tried the Method. And tried and tried before concluding two-panels just aren’t for me.

How's it for sitting

I still haven’t figured out how someone finds comfort in a 2 panel saddle. I have tried 4 and was terribly uncomfortable in every single one.

My mistake. I meant to say the Classic accommodates sitting well. I only sat in a 2 panel saddle for a few minutes and didn’t care for it. I couldn’t find a position I liked. I’m sure with more time in one I could figure something out.
