Leg straps

I used to on my mantis as I didn't want to cut them off and regret it. Got a recon recently which has removable leg straps. Removed them and haven't looked back since.

I used to wear them to keep my saddle into position but now i dont wear them at all...Some people will disagree but they're not necessary

i havent used them once on my H2, never felt the need to, even with 1 sticking and rappelling. 90% of the leg straps are not load rated

I hunt out of the Trophyline Ambush pro. Fixed nonadjustable leg straps. Unfortunately IMO I don't think I can cut mine off and safely use the TL saddle. Has anyone cut the leg straps off a TL?

I use mine, especially with rope climbing methods. Those of us with noassitis need help keep the saddle below the waist.

I don’t put them on for the walk in, but put them on before climbing. I found they keep the flex better in place and prevent the saddle from riding up. Personal preference I guess...
