The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. I wouldn't sell...belonged to great grandpop, grandpop, weldabeast....I'm torn....it's got a bunch of "character" aka beat to shiz...I thought about taking to the machine shop and having them deck it but then u loose all that character....
Fun Fact... Michigan earned the UP due to a conflict with Ohio during the Toledo War. The U.S. government came in a basically told them chill, give Toledo to Ohio, and in exchange you get the UP... It doesn't make any sense, but some answer is better than none I guess. No one was ever killed, and it was just a mental proxy war.

Nope. Don't sell it and don't face it. A friend of mine collects them. Has a house full of them on different stumps. He wire wheels them clean and clears them. They look good.

I think a lot of it had to do with Ohio getting the Maumee River and shipping access to the Great Lakes.
As one who grew up in Monroe Michigan, and spent a lot of his childhood going in and out of Toledo for work and school...I believe Michigan definitely got the better deal!

Absolutely. I got enough band staff. Actually the more I think about this the better it gets... after the help me "climb" to my spot, they'll all walk back to to van shouting the classic "Welp, guess I'm done hunting for the day!". We all know that deers come out of the woodwork as soon as we leave the area.
