Winchester model 70 feather lite in 300 win mag. All stainless, pretty much all custom. Chopped barrel(had a boss on it before), recessed stepped crown, fluted original barrel, jeweled bolt, custom Louis laBerge trigger job. Glass bedded laminate stock, leupold vxii 3-9 x40 stainless scope. Did a number on this bear...heart shot while running--heart was like jello.

Nice rifle, how do you like the glass? Never shot anything with that scope.

Athens Summit and G5 Montec Heads.

Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather in 7mm-08, been my gun season go-to for a few years but I mix it up from time to time.

VERY NICE! I'm setting aside the $ for a Model 70 Extreme Weather SS in .270. Can't wait.

ITs funny, mine isnt the "extreme weather" just an all stainless from probably 20 years ago. It originally had a standard barrel wiht a BOSS and I had a local smith chop and flute it. Best decision ever. The goal was the perfect mountain rifle that could shoot pretty much anything for game. IT came out quite well. Not nearly as light as my fathers remmy 700 mtn rifle in 7mm-08 with a bell and carlson stock, but every bit as reliable and a joy to carry.
