Okay so I will start off with saying yes, I know there are other threads out there discussing this and yes, I have read them. My reason for this thread is for a different line of thought so please bare with me!

I am looking to change my bow hanger setup. I have run J-hooks on a cinch strap in the past, HME ratchet bow hangers and gear ties. But, I need something more along the lines of the following and am looking for suggestions. Pictures if possible please and thank you!

Issues I have had in the past were my bow being too close to the tree, way too far from the tree, getting caught up when trying to take my bow off for a shot, noise, or less than desirable stability.

I am looking for a hanger that does not have a ratchet strap, preferably a cinch strap. Stands off of the tree roughly 5"-6". Stable, quiet and easy to remove the bow from.

Any suggestions will be very appreciated as my bow season rapidly approaches (Sept 12th, 40 days away). Pictures or links to products is a bonus too! Worst case I will try to fab or weld up a special hook with a strap.

Maybe I am onto something? Maybe I should fab and market the perfect bow hanger? :smirk:

Could you post a picture or two of this in action?
Two designs ones inline with the branch other is perendicular. They work great, you can strap on or I like to zip ties in my presets. Super light weight and strong. Allow you to put bow at a good grab height and not against tree. I hunt out of pines a lot sap everywhere.

I used to screw a small bow hanger into limbs like that but stopped doing it cause I got busted once when I lifted my bow off the hook and the limb moved. It was a very still morning and it was enough to make the doe I was trying to shoot pin me down and ruined my shot opportunity. It will be fine if the limb is big enough and if it's not too far out from the tree. Great job though.
