Lighted Nocks

I've been using nockturnals since I started using lighted nocks. It's been 7 years now and I still like them. I try to buy them in the offseason because I can find some much better deals than during the season.

@redsquirrel - have you used nockturnals with your HC Mini? I’m curious if they will fit the bowstring well with the OEM serving. I purchased glorynocks and they won’t fit - the nock is too narrow to snap onto the bowstring.

Yes I've got it set up with the nockturnal s nocks, the exact same ones I use with my compound which is convenient!

I use nockturnals. I have been pleased with them. This is not an area you want to skimp and buy Chinese knock offs. It is a very important part of the process in archery. This is the thing that touches the string and will be absorbing all the energy.

Im not going to use lighted nocks next year. Yeah it helps to find the arrow, and perhaps see where you hit. No question.
But the nokturnals I used this year annoyed me. Randomly popped on while in the stand, hard to reach the button to shut off, got really loose so had to glue in the insert, then one went bad, couldn't get the insert out to use a regular nock. Bah! No more!

FireNocks are worth the price of admission. Yes, the initial outlay is costly, but they work, and work well! And Dorge will set you straight with what you should use.

and they have replaceable batteries, and target nocks (stay lighted for a short period and shut off) and have weighted “thingies” so you can easily have multiple practice arrows with same weight as the lighted nocks AND have target lighted nocks.

In this case, you get what you pay for.
