Hold my beerAnyone using a spare bow string for a tether? This is a joke, you don't have to try it.

I want nothing to do with the no eating/drinking...
1.5 hour hike/climb in (+/-), 30 min pre-rise to 30 min post set, hike out. May change location at some point in the day. 32 oz of water w/LMNT and three protein bars at a minimum. One protein bar mid-morning, one mid-day, one mid-afternoon. Eat as much as possible for breakfast and supper.
If just hunting a half day or coming out at lunch, I still want at least the water just for the hike in/out.
I'm often hunting 2.5-3 days in a row. Not eating/drinking would make every day after the first pretty rough on me.
that's a lot of water
i was in the habit of chugging 2 large Body Armors on the way driving in....then I could go all day on maybe 16 ounces of water
i'd stop on the way home and get more drinks and chug them because i was pretty parched after that
I know this sounds like preaching....
I used to under-hydrate before and during hunting. Didn't want to spook an animal either while taking a drink or a pee. But I found that I sometimes got just a wee bit dizzy or light-headed up there. I resolved to ALWAYS take a liter of water with me and to stay well hydrated. Because light-headedness while in a tree stand can be fatal.
Sorry. I know this sounds like your mother....
