who uses something like limb legs to set their bow on while practicing? id like something that has a tripod design so my cam or limb doesn't touch the ground when i set my bow down, but I dunno if I'm in it for $80. any cheaper similar alternatives?

I use a Truglo Bow jack. Its like $10 and the cam sits on the ground, but it works fine pretty much. I've had it tip forward a time or two.
It gets good/regular use and Im pleased with it. Was always a pain looking for a place to set my bow while I went to retrieve arrows.

I have the engage on my V3 and I use it every time I shoot. I’ve even used it in the field to not have to set my bow on the ground while I climb. They fold up flat and store easily.

I haven't messed with those limb legs, but could you adjust/flip them so that they tilt the bow onto your stabilizer as the third contact and then wrap wherever your stab hits the ground with something (thick 3M electrical tape, stealth strips, vet tape, etc) that you can remove?

the engage has a tripod base so your bow doesnt touch the ground

I’ve got this little gadget that screws into the stab hole. It is made so that two arrows shafts can be screwed into it to make a tripod. I‘ve had it for years but never seen another one. The adapter excepts a carbon arrow insert on one side and a threaded post on the other. When you take the arrow shaft “legs” off, they can be screwed together and go in the quiver. It also has a stab hole in the front if you do use a stab.

Pics?

May not be what you want but this is what I use and it works well. The prongs rotate and are adjustable to fit basically any bow

I bought one like this on ebay years ago.
