Well, no score for me and @BrowninG77 . I was about to sling a meat missile at a 8 point but, after long closely, he just didn't have the age.

Been a hot but fun opening week in the saddle for sure for us in the Sip (MS)! Cool front and rain finally approaching had the winds swirly a bit this evening right at dark, but we definitely had some good action! I’ll see what kind of footage i got on the Tactacam.

This is buck number 8 for the week. I have to shoot 8 or better on my lease since I took my Florida legal 2nd day of the season. Every buck I’ve seen that I can’t shoot has walked within top pin range and the three I could shoot have been to far, running does and wouldn’t stop and the biggest I drove up on on my way to park the side by side to walk rest of they way.

Got one more sit then it’s back to work. Been an awesome week in the whitetail woods and if I don’t drop the string on one in the morning I still win just sharing the same moment in time with them

Well it finally stopped raining. Over 10” this past week. Acorns are still dropping. Had a button buck under tree and 10 min later a doe and two fawns. Didn’t realize they were behind me until I heard then chomping on acorns. Doe was quartered to me so I let her continue. Ended up not getting a shot I felt good about.

One of the reasons I am glad I’m not hunting in Massachusetts. No hunting on Sunday, what a crazy law.
 
Back at it again in upstate SC. hadn't got to hunt all weekend. Been helping take care of my new son. But mother in law coming over so I slipped off to the woods. Let's just hope I can stick one tonight. Cold front moved in Friday night and had some rain last night. Everybody been seeing deer this weekend. Hope they continue tonight.
