Live from the saddle 2019

Well I got one. She came by at 25 yards moving fast. I had to whistle to stop her and didn't make the best shot, spined her. The second shot ended it pretty quick. It's gonna be a looooong drag just checked onX and I'm 1.3 miles from the truck. Sure wish I could quarter her and pack her out in the hybrid... Stupid NJ lawsView attachment 16877

I get the no selling cars on Sundays, every car deal I've been involved in felt like someone (usually me) was getting robbed. But no hunting on Sundays, that one I never understood . . .

I believe it has to do with religion/church. Not complaining but we cant hunt within a 1/2 mile of a church on sunday.

Actually it probably started that way, now believe it or not farmers, hikers and even hunters are fighting it. In PA, there are still a ton of hunters who have no idea about QDM and think that if we hunt on sundays we'll hurt the deer herd. I actually have areas near me that have "no doe hunting" posted. Education is not exactly embraced in certain parts of PA

Don't forget the whole "tradition" thing. The freak out that happened with moving firearms opening day from Monday to Saturday (gaining a day) was unbelievable.

Now people are freaking out about adding 3 Sundays (not even every Sunday) to hunt? I don't get this state sometimes...
