Live from the saddle 2020

It's a beautiful day here in AR, gathering my stuff up now to head for some public since all my private is under water.

First south wind after a week of north winds should have them on their feet. Rain moving in tonight has the pressure rising, should be a good evening! Screenshot_20200125-145345_The Weather Channel.jpg

They were moving good here too today after the rain. Scouted some new areas and brought the bow in case any unlucky does, squirrels, rabbits or yotes got too close. Got busted drawing my bow back by a group of does. I did shoot a couple squirrels and found my first shed of the year MVIMG_20200125_155156.jpg

Good deal. I love finding sheds

Well that was the last push! know when you don’t really have much time , but you go anyway.... had deer all over me 5 minutes into my climb. Managed to make it up & get setup as sun was setting. Big doe came through and rode home in the truck.... great wrap to the season ( hey @redsquirrel how bout some bonus points for team 2, I’m maxed out) 83B076E3-F808-4E65-BA29-658D7BAD226B.jpeg

I gave it my best go and came home empty-handed.... Good job. Perfect ending to a great hunting season

This squirrel came blazing down the tree until he got to me. He said it was the4161300B-FD97-4747-91D0-A8349E6F8E81.png first time he had seen a saddle in person and wanted to check it out.

Just slap missed a doe 30 yards..weak side shot. :rage:

Turns out I hit the doe and put a bad shot on her. I tracked the blood and found her alive and had to finish her off. I’m very dissapointed in myself, but I’m glad I was able to find her.
