Live from the saddle 2020

Where u at? Rain and wind has been unrelenting....I hoping it clears up so maybe a sit this afternoon...radar isn't looking good
I’m was in the Baldwin area. Wind was tough but no rain at all both days. I let a jumbo boar hog go yesterday morning. Just didn’t want to mess with one like that on opening day of deer season. Plus as rank as he was wouldn’t have been worth eating anyway. He was fighting every other boar in the pack and handily whooping their a**. No good eaters in the bunch. Either BIG boars or 40# pigs.

A friend near maxville said no rain also.....south of the river we had unstop weather foul enough to keep me out the woods...weatherman says I might get an afterwork sit Tues Weds....fingers crossed

....I hope this cool snap hangs around a couple day...

Went for a sit in my new Phantom for MI’s antlerless only hunt. Of course I had 6 bucks go by at 20yds and no does. I was rocking the TimberPimp late summer line

First day I could get out.... Went to see about my preset trees....I have 2 down by the creek and 1 roughly 130yds from the creek.... The storms and this nor'easter has the river and creeks flooded pretty good... Struck out 2 outta 3....maybe if I'm lucky the 3rd tree won't be 2ft under water....I hopefully can get an afternoon hunt in tomorrow
