Old. But all three of these together look like it was a hot spot at one time. The question is whyNeed advices. Had to call it a day due to other responsibilities. Found this on way out. Is it too old or even last season? Im still not that experience reading sign. Or can l target this location tomorrow? Or any reason that l have not realized that it would not be a good idea? Because if not, I'm coming back to this rub tomorrow.

Same. Looks to old and unused. Rubs are tough, scrapes are better fresh sign. But, bucks will run the same scrape lines year after year. If you see scrapes around as well you are in the right area but if you are basing it all off that one scrape and have better options I would not put my eggs in that basket.Interested in hearing from more seasoned hunters but that looks old to me. Someone recently said something about not hunting it unless it's literally wet/has sap dripping from it/you see deer making it. I'd definitely mark the location but not sure if I would set up on only that. Fresh poop or something else nearby? Then yes. (but I'm not super sure I know what I'm talking about yet)
Yea...I'm supposed to get like 3" this afternoon. Stay warm out there!
That guys going to show up today and give you an earful for hunting so close to his spot.Morning everyone. Lol. Cant tell how old the treestand is. But that tree been dead a long time. Thing got to be 25-30 ft high too. Guess they realized it wasn't worth getting back.

Why was he coming down the trail? Cruzing or on a doe? Either way sounds like your in a good spot. If you think there are more bucks near by. No sense making a bunch of noise. I'd sit tight for a while.Failed. A buck came in behind me at 20 yards. First deer within range of me all year. Picked up my bow. Pull back and accidentally punched trigger. I was so pumped with adrenaline that i was having a hard time pulling bow. So death gripped it and off went arrow at ground and buck ran back to where he came from. Im still shaking. So disappoint at myself. Is this tree burned? Should l relocate?

similar thing happened to me yesterday, I let loose an arrow after being at full draw on a deer that wouldn’t let me shoot her, trying to let the string down and release got caught on something and away it goes. If I hadn’t had a lighted knock I never would have found it.Failed. A buck came in behind me at 20 yards. First deer within range of me all year. Picked up my bow. Not even going to try looking for arrow. Dont even remember a general direction.
Appreciate the advice, but honestly, it had nothing to do with anything other than me making a bone head move. I know better.U guys maybe need to lower ur draw weight
