Not live but yesterday evening this was my setup. On top of a ridge that led to a cut sorghum field with oaks below is. The area was littered with old rubs. On another note, I kinda like these boot blankets...

The cool thing is I watched my buddy get his first deer (first kill really). He started hunting with me last turkey season. I saw him draw, let down, draw again, and finally shoot. He got a mature doe that ran 60 yards and I watched her fall. Pretty dang cool. It was also one of the toughest blood trails I've ever been on. Great blood on the arrow but the first blood we found was 30 yards into the trail. We ended up just walking to her without trailing. Either way, he's stoked. I'm stoked. His kids were stoked.

That is awesome. I love watching someone shoot a deer with a bow in another location. So cool to see it all go down

Interested in hearing from more seasoned hunters but that looks old to me. Someone recently said something about not hunting it unless it's literally wet/has sap dripping from it/you see deer making it. I'd definitely mark the location but not sure if I would set up on only that. Fresh poop or something else nearby? Then yes. (but I'm not super sure I know what I'm talking about yet)
Yeah I don’t know that I’d set up on it, the margins are starting to peel back which tells me it’s been there awhile, but it tells you you have traffic going through there so def mark the spot and perhaps look around next time you’re there, they may be more/fresh rubs

Rules here are one buck....thats between ALL seasons...and has to have at least 3pts, 1" or longer, sure makes things a little more chsllenging....
Bleh. I get 3 either sex, 3 anterless which can be slick heads, shed bucks or button bucks.
