I knocked off after an hour. Another round of soaking, 50 degree rain moved in so it was either tough it out and catch pneumonia or head in and get everything dried for perfect wx tomorrow.

Sometimes, the best of hunting doesn’t involve killing anything.

Tonight, I had a family of 4 coons come by me twice doing their thing.

Also had 2 small doe at 30 yards and got busted by one. She stomped and snorted but I kept still. Over the next 30 minutes, she worked her way into 20 yards, snorting, stomping but the feeding. All told, she was doing her thing for about 30 minutes before getting bored and walking off.

Tethered on the ground.... More cover on the ground where I'm at then up in those telephone poles. Seen 1 lone doe but she was too far away

Live from the saddle where I’m trying to convince myself to be patient after putting an arrow in a solid 8. Shot was forward. Definitely got front side shoulder. He’s either dead with a heart shot or I need to go finish him off.
