I'm out swinging in the wind trying to pop my pistol cherry...
Put some camo on that gun!!! Do you know how easy it is to pick off the stainless in the tree? I was hunting a mountain ridge in Alaska a mile away from base camp. The guys at camp kept a constant tally on us because the guy I was hunting with had a stainless 300 win mag.

Trying to get 1 more doe before the end of season.

Even though I didn’t kill anything I still consider this a successful hunt. I’m tagged out on bucks so it’s Doecember for me.

But then it won't be so pretty...

She never saw it coming... :p

Nice looking setup! Give us a run down!

It's a lefty 19 inch riser. 45 lb "short" limbs for 60 inch bow, in the kuiu verde camo. Bear weather rest, Shatterproof Archery D97 string with the jax silencers and felt string silencers on the limb tips. Apex Gear 4 arrow detachable quiver, Easton gamegetter xx75 500s at 28 inches with 4 inch left feathers, 50 gr insert with 200 gr left bevel Cutthroats.
Did not adjust tiller or anything like that. I tried carbon arrows on it but it likes the aluminums better. Really really like it.

PS. I shoot instinctive, 3 under with glove.

Nice cool morning with blue bird skies after a good raining week. Saw one deer moving about 80 yards away but couldn’t tell what it was. I hope they come to feed on these remaining red oaks soon. Good luck to anyone still after it. It’s just starting to get good here. CBED0801-C29F-4D49-81D0-474F3CBD7E62.jpeg

Back up!!! On public on an inside corner with the ML. Front coming in hoping to put some points on the board for Team3!

Haven’t been here since the leaves fell but still getting plenty of doe pictures. Man this spot was thick thick in the early season but it’s wide open now. Here’s to hoping I catch one coming through. Nice cool morning but not a hard frost like yesterday. Overcast and a good breeze.

I’m waiting to hear how the track is going from a buddy of mine that shot his first traditional bow buck.D2207567-A193-43EA-8D25-4CB79EB47C39.jpeg

This stud came in behind two smaller bucks at daybreak. Got drawn at 13 yards and could have tried to sneak it past a few twigs but decided to wait for him to take two more steps. His forkie brother must have seen me draw, got all cagey and they all 3 tentatively back out of the area. Now I’m just cold.

Ok so I’m scouting for an evening hunt and I crossed a creek and bumped a doe from about 40 yards. I waited until she got out of there then proceeded to check out where she was bedded. About 20 yards from where she was and I bumped a huge 8 point and another doe. They sprang out of there and ripped and tore across the creek haha. Now I’m sitting here trying to figure out what the heck to do for an evening sit. 5B32C509-8B00-4C0E-9964-073FB83D80CA.jpeg

Why were they there? Cover or food?
