Lone Wolf Assassin Saddle?

You asked for the fanny pack! Personally I would never run a fanny pack... only "action satchels" for me.

I could see a way to combine the belt and the shoulder straps... but I can also imagine a lot of fiddle being introduced... trying to leave the belt on while taking the platform off...
Lol. I'm just playing around with it in my head while I'm "working."

Really, resting the platform on a fanny pack functions pretty well to take weight off your shoulders and onto your hips.

It’s basically a cheap harness with a battle belt and a fixed lineman belt with a big metal ring. Yours if you want it. I can’t believe I didn’t throw it away 10 years ago.

These are interesting. Think I've seen thre TH before but never heard of the Simmons.

I remember wondering about the TH belt: "What is the use of this thing?". Does it basically imply that you would have nothing else at hunting height for safety? If you pared it with a harness, rch, or a saddle, why even bother with the belt? Cool product(s). I might just be missing their intended/proper use.

Love learning more about these kinds of unusual items. Thanks for sharing.

ITs really just a linemans belt... , or old school "safety" belt. Better than hitting the ground if your in a stand, but definitely not the most comfortable thing should you fall!

So I’ve got a battlebelt with linemansloops and I used it to do my best impression of the LW saddle hunting harness. It was OK but didn’t get me thinking I would ditch my other saddles.

Then I messed around with my sitdrag and I remembered how comfy it was.

Then I put my linemans belt into the same carabiner as my bridge and adjusted so the battlebelt provides some back support. Groovy!

I recently rewatched the Tactisaddle video and he talks about adjusting the rump strap. While I saw it I was thinking that jt made sense but a wider strap would be better.

I think the sitdrag with the battlebelt combo does what in my imagination I want the tactisaddle to do. It doesn’t feel busy either with all that in the same carabiner.

Need more hang time!

What you're talking about is essentislly an anderson/treehopper sling :) two idependent larger areas of support that are move able and equalize.for support. Seriously, sometimes the simpliest concept and execution can loom deceiving but is really perfect. ..

I hear what you’re saying. I’m waiting for my other sitdrag to return to me to try somethinng more anderson sling like, though I did in the past and didn’t like it. But I’ll revisit it. I think the lower profile of the battlebelt is serving me better than a second sitdrag. And the BB can carry my stuff nicely :)
