Hello all!

I’ve been saddle hunting for 2 or 3 years now and have been a long time lurker on this forum. Recently I have been hunting NE Ohio OHLAP (private property with daily permits available) a lot so saddle hunting has been the ticket for run&gun for me. I’ve used this site to figure out just about everything when getting into saddle hunting and am now starting to use the classifieds to upgrade/change my gear.

I’ve been using a latitude classic 2 this whole time and just decided to try out a 2 panel so I’ve got a method 2 on the way. I’ve made it this far without changing much but the itch has begun and I must scratch it lol.

Oh very cool! Last year was my first hunting OHLAP, I mainly hunted the Orwell/andover area, lots of nice land around there. I’m planning on scouting much more this year.
 
Welcome! I hunted NE Ohio a few years ago on public land. I’d like to make it back sometime.
 
Welcome from Wayne/Holmes County. I hunt LaDue some, I really like that area
 
Nice to here that hunters are being able to take advantage of the OHLAP program, more importantly that there are landowners actually using it!

Around here there are a ton of landowners using it, it's been awesome

Yeah OHLAP has been sweet, I’m glad there’s so many properties in the area and hope more open up for more people to enjoy!
