Ok fellas I am wanting to get another saddle but would like some input of the ones I have narrowed down.
Tx5
Woods hunting sdddles
Cruzer
ESS

I feel like the tx5 and the woods are almost neck and neck.
the cruzer seems like us would be good for the money and the ESS to me seems like is would be good but also kinda a pain to use.

I've owned quite a few saddles and I currently own two Cruzr XC models! All that aside, I would like to try a TX5 Lonestar, and I haven't owned a Woods, either. I'm personally not a super fan of 2-panel designs from a fiddle-factor standpoint, but they can be supper comfortable.

Come to the light, the JX3 tree saddle light..............
Don't be afraid, you will sit from dark to dark very comfortably, no fidgeting, be able to snooze when you want, no dreaded hip pinch, no back aches, you can shoot 360° around the tree with any weapon, bow or gun.
No platform required, only a ROS, no sore feet, no knee pads required, no sore knees, no tired legs from leaning as you can sit all day, built in pack frame for carrying all your needs. No getting into “saddle shape” as your Lazy Boy at home does it for you. Buy once, cry once.

Buy all of them. (You are likely going to end up doing that, anyhow.) Sit in each of them on a hunt or in the backyard for a couple of hours. Sell the other three for a $30 "loss" and for a total cost to you of $90 you will have your answer in a couple of weeks instead of dragging it out over many months or years.

Also, consider this: you are asking a variety of different people, with a variety of different body types (skinny, fat, muscular, tall, short), and a variety of different hunting position and platform preferences (sitting, standing, leaning, ROS, platform) what they like - just buy all of them and see which one you like the best.

I wouldn't bother with the ESS personally. If you want to try a 2 panel I've been a fan of my latitude method, however have recently run into some issues with the lower panel sliding up, likely due to different pants however I've been thinking about trying a one panel saddle as a comparison. My current front runners are woods and cruzer with Tx5 not too far behind. Sorry that doesn't narrow it down any more for you. Thankfully, we have a variety of good saddle options these days.

I would say you are correct in many ways.
I have only used really three saddles in my life the first and the most was the old trophy line and I was doing back before it got popular like it is now when most guys would say you actually sit in that lol. I recently had a H2 saddle but returned as I could not get comfortable in it now matter what I did and most of it was I feel like it wasn’t wide enough to grab more of my rear. I felt like it needed to come down on my legs more and this no matter what I did kept it wanting to ride up my back bad. Other than that it wasn’t a bad saddle at all. Could have just been it did not fit me well is all. I typed a phantom which was about the same size it was a lot better but still not the best. This was my sons saddle and it works well for him. So I am still on the hunt for the better one. I lean most of the time if it is a morning or evening hunt but all day I would like to sit some but most of my all day sits if I have to is during the rut and I almost prefer my hang on for that anyway. I currently use a mission platform but I think is is a little handicapped in some ways and plan to go to a ROS for next year.

Love my ess to no end. It’s a bit of a pain to get used to but once you figure out a system it’s a breeze. Beyond comfortable and super adjustable. I’m 200 lbs with a 36” waist and get absolute zero hip pinch I’ve sat in it for 13 hours being the longest and hardly moved

What county are you in?

I have an Cruzr xc and I sat it in all day before with no issues. I do have a .5 treestand so I’ll sit in the seat from time to time. 12-13 hour sits.

I will say that even as much as I love the xc I wanna try a tx5 saddle pretty bad.
