I’m in rockford just north of Grand Rapids and have been hunting saddles since 2003/2004ish. Have a number of climbing methods and saddles
I’m in Belmont. What climbing methods do you use?

New here in Michigan waiting for my jx3 when and where are the Mets. ThxI'm SE of Flint if you want to meet up sometime. I don't use WE Stepps, but have a lot of other stuff I can demo and let you try out. Looking forward to the next Michigan Demo Day, but SaddlePalooza is next on the calendar!
I'll be praying for you, cancer sucks but miracles happen all the time.
If you end up making it to the Lansing show we'll be in booth #325, stop by and hang out for a bit.
We'll also be in Novi Feb 28-March 1 for the Outdoorama show
Basically, I'm trying to figure out which date to to have a sick-day from work on... or if I need to have a recurring cold for both
Thanks
Gearhead bows is supposed to be there, and I'd like to try one of those... But I can't make it.I don’t know of any saddle related stuff there, but anybody going to Huntin’ Time expo in Grand Rapids this weekend?

The Lansing show dates are listed as a Tethrd Teach-N-Train event. I'm interested in seeing what kind of hands-on, discount, etc. might show up there. Since that's a Fri-Sat-Sun event, is there a day in particular aimed at the teach-n-train portion?
The Novi show is much closer to Detroit/SE Mich, AND 2 weeks sooner - but also closer to the proposed launch/availability date for the Phantom saddle. Is it going to be too soon/close to the Phantom date to see/buy, or basically the same info/products as the Lansing show, or is one/other better to visit with interest in the Phantom/sticks/whatever, or to bring a new saddle hunter to? I've never been to the Lansing show - is one or the other better?
I also see John Eberhart has info about being at the Novi show, but no mention of Lansing, and I enjoy re-learning stuff in his seminars when I can, and also want to see the saddle he's working on... any idea if it'll be available in either place, since he's sorta affiliated with Tethrd too?

I'm in the SE area also (Washington/Romeo). Just started Chemo a month ago though and waiting on a donor bone marrow match and when the call comes in I will out of commission for at least 6 months. Hopefully back in the saddle next fall. Have not been to the show in Lansing in a few years, but it was always a good one. If I am still waiting, I just might get out to the show this year, post the booth number when you have it!
Hey I am not familiar with the webbing mod on the WE steps. Can you give me some details? Thank you!I am in Jackson, MI. I would love to go to the meet up.
I use WE steps and have just done the webbing mod. That @ peterk1234 came up with. I got my webbing and buckles from @DanO. Caming them over is so much easier and you don't have to tie the knot. And they cam over very tight.
I am going to be using the k/s or the 5 step big wall ladder with the steps. I have practice both because so far it hasn't gone real well.
Look forward to meeting you guys.

I think you just tie the knot with webbing. Either girth hitch to cross bar or sew a loop in your webbing and tie like the rope.Hey I am not familiar with the webbing mod on the WE steps. Can you give me some details? Thank you!
the web straps from Dano can just be girth hitched to the step. I took the web straps apart and actually sewed the loops directly unto the staps.Hey I am not familiar with the webbing mod on the WE steps. Can you give me some details? Thank you!
Thanks for the info! I'll look into doing this!I think you just tie the knot with webbing. Either girth hitch to cross bar or sew a loop in your webbing and tie like the rope.
The primal v-steps have the cam buckle. Just remove the buckle with those and tie.
Sounds great! I'll check out Dano's web straps! Thank you!the web straps from Dano can just be girth hitched to the step. I took the web straps apart and actually sewed the loops directly unto the staps.
